  • You do not understand how copyright or trademark law works. If David has not spent the money to register his trademark then he does not have one. My guess is he has not since he has no markings for trademark and all.

  • Adding new Olympic sports is not really done, but adding disciplines is common. What? Yes they are. Snowboarding is the biggest example. Wakeboarding. Lots of the X games have been added.

  • C. Eng, many good points in your post. I really just want to address the idea of "quality over quantity". That sounds great as long at the method of eliminating teams takes into account the future and not just now. The hardest thing is to determine who to eliminate and all.

  • If anything the lack of fighting is hurting it. The big fights are about the only time that everyone talks about the NHL and it is not "bad" it is basically "dude, did you see that goalie beat on that other guy?"

  • The league got it wrong. This is basically a suspention for being "too good at what you should have done" and "not being a NHL star". The league saying "you can hit someone, but don't knock them out" is stupid.
